We are seeking an experienced Spanish-Speaking Medical Assistant to join our growing clinical team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional patient experiences, and supporting advanced wellness initiatives.

Requirements

Fluent Spanish-Speaking.
2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
Experience taking vital signs and rooming patients.
Strong medical documentation skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with EMR e-ClinicalWorks.

Responsibilities

Prepare charts in advance to ensure providers and patients are fully supported.
Room patients and accurately document in EMR.
Record vital signs and medical histories.
Assist providers during medical procedures.
Obtain consent for procedures and immunizations.
Administer injectable medications and vaccinations.
Perform and/or collect ancillary testing (PGX, UTI/STI panels, Urine Wellness, etc).
Swab patients curbside as needed.
Clean and stock exam rooms.
Respond to patient portal messages within 48–72 hours (or sooner if urgent).
Process incoming/outgoing faxes.
Send e-prescriptions for non-controlled substances on behalf of providers.
Assist with referral coordination.
Send medical records and patient notes as requested.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Monitor internal communication platforms (Teams or GoTo Chat).
Ensure patients are informed about and scheduled for our Advanced Wellness Program.
Support clinic operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
