Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
CPR certification or willingness to attain upon hire

Responsibilities

Greet patients and triage them upon arrival.
Prepare patients for physician visits by obtaining histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements.
Assist clinicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Review care plans with patients to ensure understanding before they leave.
Maintain examination and procedure rooms, ensuring they are in order, set up, and ready for each new patient.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Schedule appointments and procedures for patients.
Manage necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results.
Respond to patient phone messages in a timely manner.
Document information in the computer system.
