About The Position

This role supports a very busy OBGYN office with multiple providers and additional clinical staff. The Medical Assistant will perform select clinical functions to enhance the delivery of patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for physical examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests and recording results, performing routine diagnostic tests, and potentially performing phlebotomy. The role also involves administering selected medications/injections under physician supervision and performing clerical duties related to clinic operations. This position requires occasional travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) with current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and at least 6 months of clinical experience
Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience
