About The Position

Oregon Allergy Associates is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is experienced, fast-paced, driven, and highly team-oriented. This position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability in a dynamic setting, and the ability to deliver compassionate patient care while supporting an efficient workflow. Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA
  • Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Preparing charts, including PDMP reports and necessary consents
  • Assisting with patient discharge and providing after-visit summaries
  • Cleaning and restocking exam rooms to ensure readiness
  • Performs various procedures such as EKGs, injections, vaccines, and ear irrigations with precision
  • Completes controlled medication tasks following strict protocols
  • Provides training to new Medical Assistants and contributes to special projects
  • Handles complex phone calls requiring skilled communication and decision-making
  • Flexibility and teamwork are essential for taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support Praxis Health’s commitment to patient care
  • Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and allergy/asthma updates.
  • Accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Manage clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.
  • Contribute to daily team flow, supporting both patients and fellow staff.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
