As a Medical Assistant in our advanced specialty clinic, you will support providers and patients through a blend of clinical, administrative, and technical responsibilities. Your contributions directly support high-level diagnostic and treatment services for conditions such as POTS, pelvic venous disorders, fibroids, long COVID, and other complex vascular issues.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Strong communication skills and a dedication to clinical excellence
- Must have the ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Patient rooming and preparation
- Managing inbound patient phone calls
- Medication refills
- Processing medication prior authorizations
- Responding to patient portal messages
- Stocking exam rooms and ensuring clinical readiness
- Ordering supplies
- Capturing vitals with accuracy and professionalism
