About The Position

Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only. Maternal Fetal Medicine is a busy, growing specialty OB office caring for women prior to, during, and following high risk pregnancies. Our primary location is 25 Michigan St. NE, suite 5200 across from HDVCH. Within MFM, we are standing up a Fetal Care Center and in the beginning stages of getting a Fetal Surgery program off the ground. We also run a diabetes in pregnancy program out of our office with 3 dedicated APPs. We have outreach clinics in Lansing, St Joe, Greenville, and Holland with plans to further expand into a Niles location. We are on the front end of a growth expansion as a part of the domino build downtown. Our current 5th floor footprint will double to accommodate the program growth, 2 new Physicians, as well as a new Women's Health centralized testing center. We treat a myriad of diagnosis for both Mom and Baby and partner with primary OB offices for continuity of care throughout the pregnancy. Our MA's are the central tenants of our office. They coordinate patient flow for ultrasound, NST, genetics, APPs, diabetes education, and Physicians. On a fully staffed day, each MA is assigned to one provider, but the providers rotate so they get to know many styles and flows. When not rooming patients or setting up for/assisting in a procedure, they are working on in-basket, prepping charts, stocking rooms, or tracking weekly blood sugar logs. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
