About The Position

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing team! This role will provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. The Medical Assistant will meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures, and will provide assistance with Interventional Radiology procedures, as well as MRI and CT examinations.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistance, LPN, or EMT preferred
• CPR (BLS), required
• 2+ years of prior medical office experience
• For Interventional Radiology procedures, surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred
• For MRI and CT examinations, must demonstrate an understanding of MRI and CT procedures

• Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
