About The Position
South Coast Dermatology in Weymouth, MA, is looking for a passionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team full-time! This role is ideal for recent college graduates looking to gain clinical hours for medical school or similar applications. You will assist skilled dermatologists with various treatments, manage patient histories, maintain accurate medical records, and prep exam rooms, making a tangible impact on patient well-being and confidence.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of one-year commitment to the GAP program
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Prior dermatology or specialty medical office experience strongly preferred; experience in MOHS surgery would be a bonus
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused
Responsibilities
