A Medical Assistant is a Healthcare Professional who supports the provider by performing both clinical and non-clinical tasks to ensure appointments move more efficiently. This role typically involves rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, and administering medications as needed. Medical Assistants work closely with providers to ensure quality patient care and act as a critical link between the provider and the patient.
Requirements
- Washington State Department of Health license (Certified Medical Assistant)
- Passed the National Medical Assistant Certification Exam (AAMA or NCCT)
