Join our team at Columbia County Health System! We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. Requirements
- Active Washington State Certified Medical Assistant license
- BLS certification every 2 years; will help obtain if needed
Responsibilities
- Care for a wide range of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Prepare patients for visits and obtain vital signs.
- Verify patient information and assist providers during exams.
- Perform basic lab tests, prepare specimens, and sterilize instruments.
- Administer medications and process prescription refills as directed.
- Educate patients on care instructions and answer questions.
- Stock and clean exam rooms daily; maintain equipment.
