About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting both general dermatology and Mohs surgery across multiple office locations.
Requirements
- Previous Medical Assistant experience
- Experience assisting with surgical procedures or Mohs surgery
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent attention to detail and patient-care skills
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to travel between locations
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality
- Willing to work overtime when needed
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with general dermatology patient care and procedures
- Assist with Mohs surgery, including surgical preparation, room setup, assist the doctor during the procedure, patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment
- Perform specimen handling and proper labeling
- Provide wound care and patient education as directed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Clean, disinfect, and restock clinical areas
- Follow OSHA, infection control, and company safety standards
- Work collaboratively with providers, MAs, and front-office staff
- Travel with our clinical team to multiple office locations throughout the area
