Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a medical clinic is preferred
Medical Assistant Certification preferred, BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred

Responsibilities

Work with the provider and the Registered Nurse to complete procedures to support therapeutic or diagnostic interventions
Taking primary accountability in assisting the patient and family with activities of daily living
Providing age appropriate patient care to continually support the comfort and satisfaction of patients and families
Perform basic clinical skills within your scope of practice and specimen collection, while monitoring and communicating any changes in the patient condition
Document patient care in the EHR
Maintain equipment and medical supplies, restocking, reordering, cleaning and troubleshooting
Prepare examination areas for patients
