About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Health Services Department at the Galion/Ontario location. The role performs administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and for performing required procedures and tasks as directed. The listed work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., for 80 hours per pay period.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
