The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is now hiring two Medical Assistants for a new family medicine clinic located inside the Ontario Medical Center! Position Summary & Highlights These MA positions will work with a Physician and Nurse Practitioner new to Saint Alphonsus, but not new to the Ontario community. This will be a new family medicine clinic located inside the Ontario Medical Center. From general wellness and urgent care to chronic disease diagnosis and management, we provide quality and convenient healthcare services for all of your family's medical needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire
MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Healthcare Association (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC), National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)
New Graduates: MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school.
New Graduates: Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification.
Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
