Medical Assistant, Pediatric Neurology
About The Position
Join our expert team of Pediatric Neurology professionals who offer comprehensive consultation, evaluation, and treatment of a variety of neurological disorders. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued and innovation is encouraged. This role involves caring for pediatric patients and assisting with in-clinic procedures, performing a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs, reviewing histories, and allergies. The Medical Assistant will contribute to positive outcomes for patients and families, making a lasting difference in the lives of those served.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or Licensure as an LPN or Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
