Position Summary: This fulltime position this is a great opportunity to work in a respected practice as a Medical Assistant. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. We're looking for a dependable team member interested in a long-term opportunity. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), year-round role not a seasonal or temporary position. Essential Job Functions: Support quality patient care under the direction of the provider. Greet and prepare patients by verifying information, recording medical histories, and performing preliminary tests. Assist with exams, procedures, and injections as directed. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records, including proper coding. Communicate effectively with patients and providers by relaying messages, test results, and answering questions in a timely, professional manner. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by preparing exam rooms and maintaining supplies and inventory. Provide front office support, including answering phones and scheduling appointments. Follow all clinic policies and regulatory requirements, maintain CPR certification, and assist with additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Reliable, self-motivated team player with strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and strong communication and computer skills required.
  • CPR certification required (or within 4 months of hire).
  • Must be able to perform basic physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or sitting for extended periods.
