About The Position
Physicians Hearing Network is the only provider of hearing services in primary care practices across the country. We are an industry leader, growing quickly, and revolutionizing where patients will access hearing care services in the future! This position is for a part-time Medical Assistant supporting hearing healthcare services in Tempe and Gold Canyon, AZ. This role is critical in helping to identify and address hearing issues early, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 + years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in hearing healthcare
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing screenings for adult patients.
- Operate and maintain hearing screening equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Accurately record and report screening results.
- Collaborate with hearing healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Perform administrative tasks related to patient records and equipment maintenance as needed.
