About The Position

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to work full-time or part-time on the night shift in the Medical Department at the Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties.

Requirements

Completed an approved Medical Assistant program
Clerical experience
Ability to type
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multi-tasking
Good grasp of patient assessment skills
Effective communication skills & pleasant telephone manner
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Working knowledge of office equipment and medical equipment
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Minimum of 2 years medical assistant or medical office administrative support
Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Strong organizations skills and attention to detail
Ability to work with confidential matters and information is required
