About The Position
We are offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full-time Medical Assistants. This role involves both clinical and administrative duties to support patient care and office operations.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Computer experience
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one-year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
Responsibilities
- Rooms patients
- Collects vital signs
- Reviews patient medication list and patient medical/social history
- Collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests
- Administers injections and medications as directed by provider
- Performs other clinical tasks
- Orders supplies
- Updates/maintains medical records
- Obtains referrals/authorizations
- Schedules appointments
