About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Medical Assistant to support clinical operations by cross-covering open shifts and assisting with referral and care coordination workflows. This role is designed as a full-time entry pathway with the opportunity to transition into a dedicated Medical Assistant position supporting a single provider.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
• Interest in professional growth within a clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support across multiple providers and locations as needed
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with basic clinical procedures
• Manage and track patient referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups
• Coordinate care with specialists, insurance providers, and internal teams
• Support inbox management, patient outreach, and scheduling coordination
• Ensure accurate documentation within the EHR (Epic preferred)
• Maintain workflow efficiency during staffing gaps or high-volume periods
