About The Position

This role is ideal for recent college graduates aspiring to become PAs, NPs, MDs, or DOs. It offers the opportunity to perform a wide variety of back-office procedures such as venipuncture, EKGs, allergy tests, and spirometry. Selected candidates may also qualify for Phlebotomist certification sponsorship ($2,000 value). You will interact with a diverse patient population in primary care and urgent care settings, supporting a diverse provider workforce including physicians, PAs, and NPs. Past employees have successfully gained admission to top graduate programs, and the company offers strong application support, including letters of recommendation, interview support, and alumni mentorship. The compensation is competitive at $21/hr with opportunities for growth to Clinic Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed)
• Availability to work 20-40 hours/week for at least 1 year

Nice To Haves

• No license/certification required
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and verify their insurance
• Take patient vitals
• Prepare discharge paperwork, including lab/imaging orders and referrals
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Help improve quality of care by encouraging patients to complete preventive care
• Perform procedures including venipuncture, EKGs, allergy tests, immunizations, and more
• Assist providers with minor procedures such as sutures, I&D, splinting, joint injections, cervical cancer screenings, and more
• Help with Clinical Inbox tasks including submitting authorizations and following up on lab/imaging results
• Assist patients and providers with translation during the visit (for Chinese/Spanish speakers)
