About The Position
UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their Home Health team in Rockford, IL. This is a 100% FTE position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role involves providing patient care in a clinic setting and requires a strong commitment to social impact and belonging, as UW Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Computer experience.
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
