About The Position
Centurion is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join their team at the Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. This role involves working under the direction of an RN or LPN to monitor patient vital signs, implement orders for diagnostic lab tests, and assist physicians with minor procedures. Responsibilities also include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs.
Requirements
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant license/certification
- Minimum of 6 months Lab Experience
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred
Responsibilities
