About The Position

The Medical Assistant manages medication refills, complete vital signs, and provide coverage in TMS program. Support medication prescribers with day-to-day operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years as a medical assistant working in a healthcare setting
Certificate as a CCMA or RMA
Must have strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record software requirements.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR Certification, highly desirable
Narcan Certified, highly desirable

Responsibilities

Manage medication refill line
Triage medication issues
Support with prior authorizations
Genomind ordering
Obtain vital signs
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Coordination of care with medication prescribers and other team members
Ensure all client information is handled as sensitive and confidential
Maintain and order needed supplies
Create a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion
Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
As the company continues to grow, additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly.
Demonstrates ability to function effectively as a part of team.
Uses outstanding oral and written communication with employees at all levels of the business for support and sharing of information.
