Requirements

Accurately document patient details in line with organizational guidelines.
Understand the rules related to patient privacy and confidentiality (especially HIPPA regulations).
Identify and report any signs of physical distress in patients to the healthcare staff.
Good grasp of medical terminology.
Enhance patient comfort and ease through approachable and friendly interactions.
Proficiently follow instructions from medical professionals.
Knowledge about medical records and how to handle them.
Keen eye for detail.
Completion of high school or equivalent is a must.
(BLS) Basic Life Support. Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Support doctors by providing patient care and performing delegated medical tasks.
Maintain records and administer medication and injections.
Record vital signs.
Help with examining and treating patients under a physician's guidance.
Prepare exam rooms, clean before and after procedures, disinfect equipment, and restock supplies.
Talk to patients, escort them to the exam room, and get them ready.
Collect patient medical history and enter information into their file.
Monitor vital signs like pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
Help patients prepare for medical procedures, tests, and x-rays.
Conduct patient assessments.
Process electrocardiograms.
Collect blood and urine samples during testing.
