About The Position

MaxHealth in Bradenton is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. The candidate for this role will perform a wide-range of medical office tasks in front/back office. Requirements

1+ years of experience as an MA
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
Computer proficient
Previous Experience with Medical Records

Nice To Haves

Some phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee patient care
Prepare patients' rooms
Assist physicians with exams
Perform front desk tasks
Perform a wide range of medical office tasks in front/back office
Greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival
Prepare examination and procedure rooms
Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements
Schedule appointments and procedures for patients
Manage necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results
Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
