About The Position
Gardner Health Services is recruiting for a Medical Assistant position based out of the Gardner South County Health Center in Gilroy, CA. This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) position. Certification as a Medical Assistant is required, but candidates currently in the process of obtaining their certification are welcome to apply. The Medical Assistant position is a key role within Gardner's multiple medical clinics, responsible for a variety of both hands-on medical and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment. Comfort working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved Medical Assistant program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Bilingual in Spanish required

- Candidates currently in the process of obtaining their certification and will be certified soon.
