Medical Assistant MA - Clinics Granby
About The Position
Middle Park Health is seeking a full-time Clinic Medical Assistant for their Granby, Colorado location. This role works under broad supervision to assist medical providers with patient care, including taking vitals, administering medications, and completing patient history during medical visits. The Medical Assistant will also assist with general office processes, provide backup to the receptionist, perform phlebotomy services, complete diagnostic requisition forms, and assist in scheduling diagnostic tests. The position is located in Granby, Colorado, and is a full-time permanent role with day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, and rotating Saturdays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years’ experience in clinical setting and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Medical Assistant or CNA experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Pass and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Office/clinic experience to be able to answer phones positively, enter data into computer, and utilize basic office equipment
- Ability to accurately take vital signs
- Ability to multitask and maintain organization in high stress situations
- Strong computer skills to utilize a variety of software applications efficiently
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in clinical setting and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical Assistant or CNA experience
- Phlebotomy certification
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers with patient care, including vitals and medications.
