About The Position
Medical Assistant needed part time for hand/wrist/elbow surgeon in North Oklahoma City. Excellent work environment.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of electronic health records (Epic) a plus.
- Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
- Worker's Compensation knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the provider with rooming, interviewing, taking vitals, providing accurate documentation in EHR and processing forms to include referrals, prescriptions, etc.
- Responsible for bracing and casting as ordered by physician.
- Keep the fast paced clinic running efficiently.
- Triage patient calls, scheduling, authorizations, keeping exam rooms cleaned/restocked and other duties as assigned.
