About The Position

OrthoArizona is seeking talented Medical Assistants of all levels to join their team. They are the largest and most accomplished physician-owned orthopedic and musculoskeletal care group in Arizona, serving the Greater Phoenix community since 1994. They have over 200 healthcare providers, including over 80 orthopedic specialists, and 30 clinics across the Valley. This role offers opportunities for growth and impact at various locations. The Medical Assistant is expected to travel with physicians from clinic to clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• At least one year of experience in a medical office
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred
• Modernizing medicine EMA EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
• Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.
• Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.
