This position is a float Medical Assistant role supporting our Warner Robins, Macon, and Dublin clinic locations based on business needs. Work schedule is provided in advance to allow for planning and consistency. Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible travel between clinic locations in accordance with company policy. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multiple providers while supporting patient care across our Georgia practices. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • High school diploma
  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants/ Aides course
  • Current ACLS and/or CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pain management or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and knowledge of procedures including RFA and SI joint injections preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.
  • Previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider
  • Assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider
  • Cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms
  • Communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider
  • Documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record
