About The Position

Allied Pediatrics of Jericho is seeking a compassionate, organized, and energetic Medical Assistant for their fast-paced practice. This full-time role involves making a real difference for children and families by assisting providers, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in measuring heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature across all ages.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Medical Assistant.
• Pediatric experience.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), especially AthenaOne.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by taking vitals, updating records, and supporting providers to help them feel safe and supported.
• Prepare, sanitize, and restock exam rooms for efficient patient visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient history, and electronic medical records.
• Greet families, schedule appointments, answer questions, and handle phone inquiries.
• Assist during procedures and contribute to a positive office environment.
