About The Position

SMG Vascular Specialists are seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, primarily during the first shift (days). The Medical Assistant will perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic Certification/Licensure
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Clinical or Administrative experience of 1 year

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities
