About The Position

The Medical Assistant role provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education and involves continued training in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
At least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space)
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
All required credentials to be maintained throughout employment
Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information in English
Customer service skills
HIPAA compliance
Ability to adhere to quality and safety standards
Ability to read and understand medical terminology
Basic computer skills
Organizational skills
Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of work
Ability to manage time and productivity without immediate supervision
Ability to work as part of a dynamic team
