Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of hospital medicine, anatomy, and medical-surgical practices.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- Ability to Commute: Seattle, WA 98144 (Required)
- Ability to Relocate: Seattle, WA 98144: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with coding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation efficiently.
- Support patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Assist with coding and billing processes as needed.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
