About The Position
Our busy specialty clinic in Little Rock is growing, and we’d love to meet you! We’re looking for a compassionate, detailed-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. RMA certification preferred, but we’ll consider experienced MAs who bring a great attitude.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
- EMR experience — you’re comfortable documenting in the system
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and positive energy
- Detail-oriented and calm in a fast-paced clinic
Nice To Haves
- RMA certification preferred
- RMA a plus
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vitals, record medical history, and perform screenings like height, weight, and blood pressure
- Prep and stock treatment rooms, assist providers, and help with patient education
- Return patient phone calls and call in Rx to pharmacies
- Clean and reset exam rooms between patients so everything is ready for the next person
