About The Position

Frontier Sleep and Wellness is a brand new and exciting medical practice focused on diagnosing and managing sleep apnea. Our patients are seen via telemedicine by a Nurse Practitioner and supported through home sleep testing. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient journey from initial diagnosis to ongoing support.

Requirements

Medical Assistant certification or 2+ years of clinical administrative experience in a medical setting.
Strong communication and follow-up skills with a patient-first mindset.
Comfortable working with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records.
Detail-oriented and able to manage tracking and coordination tasks independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience in sleep medicine or pulmonary care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow up with patients to support their therapy and encourage treatment completion.
Coordinate referrals to appropriate providers for Treatment.
Monitor and follow up with patients regarding compliance and treatment success.
Schedule patient appointments and collect co-pays in advance of telemedicine visits.
Participate in telemedicine visits to educate and guide patients on next steps.
Collaborate with sleep medicine specialist to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Dispense, track, and monitor Home Sleep Test (HST) devices.
Follow up with patients who have not returned HST devices and assist with troubleshooting.
