About The Position

This is a temporary Medical Assistant position. The role requires demonstrated skill in obtaining patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight. It also requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, students, external organizations, and the general public. Proficiency with electronic health record systems is preferred. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT program. Current CMA and/or EMT certification and current CPR certification are required.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skill and experience in obtaining patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight
• Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, faculty, students, external organizations, and the general public
• Laboratory and phlebotomy skills
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills with a diverse range of individuals, including students
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT program
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and/or EMT certification
• Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
• Clinical experience of one year or greater in an outpatient setting
