About The Position

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – Full Time (M–F 8am–5pm) Location: 1495 Pine Ridge Rd, Suite 4, Naples, FL Compensation: $20–$23 per hour DOE Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k), 7 Paid Holidays, PTO Position Summary We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to provide high‑quality clinical and administrative support to our providers. This role supports patient care in outpatient and hospital settings, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and compassionate service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Active certification and ongoing continuing education
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Clinical or internship experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems preferred
  • Skilled in vital signs, EKGs, and routine diagnostic procedures
  • Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and universal precautions
  • Strong documentation, medical terminology, and scheduling skills
  • Ability to multitask, follow workflows, and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities
  • Professionalism and accountability aligned with organizational values
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient intakes, including vital signs, medical history, and medication/allergy review
  • Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
  • Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per competency standards
  • Prepare, label, and process lab samples and point‑of‑care tests
  • Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration
  • Support patient triage, care coordination, and transitions between care settings
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR accurately
  • Schedule and track appointments, referrals, authorizations, and test results
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations and billing needs
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical inventory
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills
  • Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and care teams
  • Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and all compliance standards
  • Deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
