About The Position

This is a part-time Medical Assistant position for Urgicare. The role requires utilizing knowledge of worker's compensation regulations for Pennsylvania, excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with patients, families, employers, and case managers, and proficiency in patient registration, client account setup, and patient scheduling. The ideal candidate will be organized, proficient in time management, able to work in a team, transition smoothly between treatment settings, be flexible in scheduling, and able to use the hospital computer system.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical assistant certification, CAOHC certification, BAT, and UDS Collection or obtained within 6 months of hire preferred
• BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant office or occupational health/ED experience preferred
