Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Hill Breast Clinic located in Jacksonville, FL. Requirements
- 1-2 Years of Medical Office Experience
- 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to the clinical team including the providers.
- Obtains vital signs, greet and chaperon patients during medical visits
- Telephone triage
- Patient education.
- Maintains rooms stock and exam room turnover
- Maintains medical documentation and patient intake to include preparation of charts
- Prepare medical equipment for sterilization.
- Assists with clinic procedures including preparation of sterile fields
- Collects and prepares laboratory specimens
- Assists with Staple, suture, drain removal as directed
- Prepare sterile field for in office procedures.
- Manage clinical equipment and supply inventory
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and other clinical members.
