About The Position

As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ® . A Certified Medical Assistant, who excels in this role: Accurately identifies patient needs and documents basic medical history. Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Assist during medical examinations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required within a year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification though the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred
