About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant in Russellville, Arkansas. The role supports healthcare professionals in delivering medical assessments and evaluations and involves working directly with patients in a professional clinical setting. The position is part-time flex or regular, depending on the candidate’s preference and the organization’s needs. Work is typically scheduled Wednesdays and Thursdays between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with weekly hours varying; some weeks may involve two days and others three. Additional days may become available as demand grows.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, detail-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and conducting medical evaluations.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Perform routine clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical tests.
• Maintain medical records and respond to patient inquiries.
• Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies.
