About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Wauwatosa Ambulatory Center in the Electrophysiology department. This is a full-time, day shift position. The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties. Responsibilities include interviewing patients to record medical history and vital signs, preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, ensuring medical supplies are ordered and stocked, and managing clerical tasks such as phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- MA clinical and cardiac experience preferred, but not required
