You’ll often be the first clinical touchpoint for families, coordinating care, and ensuring each visit feels seamless. Schedule: 16-20 hours per week with rotating Saturdays Monday, Wednesday and Friday availability is a must Rotating Saturdays Ability to work late shifts Clinic Hours Wheaton Pediatrics - Batavia Monday - Thursday: 8:30am-5pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-10:30am Wheaton Pediatrics - Wheaton Monday - Thursday: 8:00am-7pm, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm If interested - Pick up additional evening and weekend shifts at our Pediatric Immediate Care (PIC) locations in Bannockburn, Libertyville, Schaumburg, and Wheaton and earn a shift differential on top of your base rate! Locations: Wheaton Pediatrics - Batavia 725 West Fabyan Parkway, Suite B Batavia, IL 60510 Wheaton Pediatrics - Wheaton 1725 South Naperville Road, Suite 100 Wheaton, IL 60189 GENERAL SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant supports the provider in many aspects of the office encounter. Works under the supervision of the Practice Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens. Documents necessary information in the EMR. Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs. Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training. Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol. Performs digital health workflows and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
