About The Position

Newberry Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join their Pediatrics and primary care team in Newberry County, SC. Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital. The Medical Assistant (MA) will provide individualized patient care using age-appropriate skills while under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required
• At least one year of experience in a health care setting or medical assistant training, or an equivalent combination of experience and training, is required.
• Medical assistant certification is required.
