About The Position
Join Parkview Behavioral Health as a Medical Assistant. This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus and is responsible for assisting with the daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned office(s). You will work in collaboration with the team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.
Requirements
- High school graduate or the equivalent with GED.
- Completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
- CPR required.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with computers.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
