About The Position
Fast-paced Dermatology office seeking an energetic, team-oriented, Certified Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate has relevant experience, is certified, and eager to learn about dermatology!
Requirements
- Confident with Sterile technique
- Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Comfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant is preferred
- Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Administer injections
- Scribe for provider during visits
- Set up and assist during surgical and cosmetic procedures
- Suture removals
- Stock and sanitize rooms
- Autoclave instruments
- Communicate biopsy, prescription, and lab results to patients
- Maintain pathology log
- Schedule patients for surgical procedures
- Administer Photodynamic Therapy
