Corewell Health Enhanced Primary Care is a value-based clinic that utilizes a proactive, team-based approach to manage patient populations—particularly those at higher risk. Our care model focuses on coordinating services, closing care gaps, and preventing avoidable emergency department visits and hospitalizations. We are a family practice serving patients across the full lifespan, from newborns through end-of-life care. Our Medical Assistants (MAs) and Ambulatory Care Team (ACT) operate within a pod-based structure. This model allows efficient and collaborative coverage of key responsibilities, including: Chart preparation, Patient rooming, Vital sign collection, Point-of-care (POC) testing, and In-basket management. This coordinated approach supports high-quality, patient-centered care while improving workflow efficiency and team accountability. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
