Medical Assistant- Bradenton
About The Position
MaxHealth is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant in Bradenton, Florida. The Medical Assistant supports patient care and performs a range of front- and back-office tasks in a fast-paced primary care setting. The role includes greeting and triaging patients, preparing examination and procedure rooms, collecting patient histories and vital signs, and measuring height and weight. The Medical Assistant also assists physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments; schedules appointments and procedures; and manages pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. The position offers a starting salary of $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a $500 sign-on bonus paid after completing the first 30 days.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Computer literacy and proficiency, including experience using EMR/EHR systems.
- Previous experience with medical records.
Responsibilities
